Girl with a Pool Earring

A digital painting inspired by Johannes Vermeer's iconic portrait, reimagined through the lens of one of Marvel's most unconventional characters.

This piece began as a study of classical composition, color, and lighting, while exploring how a modern comic-book character could be integrated into a timeless work of art. My goal was to preserve the recognizable structure and atmosphere of the original painting while adding Deadpool's playful and self-aware personality.

Created as an exercise in digital painting techniques, texture work, and the fusion of classical art with contemporary pop culture.
